About says:
Mudlet 1.1.0 built: March 8, 2010
but it should be the latest stable 1.1.1, downloaded from the link on the main page (the installation file is Mudlet-1.1.1.exe)
I'm trying redownloading and reinstalling right now
EDIT:
Redownloaded and reinstalled 1.1.1 : same as before.
Tried 1.2.0-pre2 : it works. I don't get the error, tags are set on login and I see the cecho output.
So for me the problem is solved using the 1.2 prerelease. Still don't know why 1.1.1 didn't work.
Thanks for the fast help Vadi, and for suggesting checking the installation.
Keep up with the good work.
PS: remember to edit the 'about' on 1.2, it still shows 1.1.0
MAG - Mudlet Aardwolf GUI
Re: MAG - Mudlet Aardwolf GUI
I followed the directions you gave for the player who wanted the SAYs to be in the main window.. I'd like INFO to be there. but I don't see a way to do that. There is a line for Channel tags.. can I get INFO in the main window?
We need mudlet to add the ability to change the font for ALL windows.
-Cera
p.s. thanks for making a good client for the MAC!
p.p.s. I hate lau. it's not easy. at all.

Re: MAG - Mudlet Aardwolf GUI
1) I absolutely enjoy using the client with my mac on Aard. I have only used it for a few weeks but I am curious if any sort of GMCP mapper will be added in the future? It would really replace the ascii mapper in the long run.
2) Also, in regards to fonts / window sizes: How do I change the size of the chat capture window? I may have just missed the post when I searched for my answer.
3) Where can I begin to play with how my CP mobs are displayed? The plain white text can a little cumbersome after a while.
Thanks again and keep up the great work!

Re: MAG - Mudlet Aardwolf GUI
Thank for the reply about the mapper.
Has anyone experienced any issues with the spellup script in MAG? Every now and then it turns off my prompt / battle prompt once it completes. It appears to happen at random.

Re: MAG - Mudlet Aardwolf GUI
In response to my question about controlling the size of the chat log window: After reading through the files this was an was and easy fix. If anyone is interested just post it here and I can walk you through it.
Re: MAG - Mudlet Aardwolf GUI
Post anyway, not everyone would want to create a forums account just to ask.
Re: MAG - Mudlet Aardwolf GUI
Changing the size of the Chat Log Window in MAG. The good news is that there is a User Configuration file that is pretty strait-forward.
In Mudlet:
In Mudlet:
- 1)Click on Scripts
2) Expand the MAG Group Folder
3) Expand the Aardwolf Configuration Folder
4) Click on User Configuraton- 4a)Scroll down to AConf.GUI.Right_wrap
4b)Change the value to the size you want (I have high resolution so I used 85)
4c)Un-comment the line by removing the '--' before AConf.GUI.Right_wrap
4d)Save Item
(Note: 4a - 4d steps can also be used to change font sizes for AConf.GUI.Right_fontsize or AConf.GUI.Bottom_fontsize. Poke around the file and you will find some other variables that you can edit also. If you mess up just add the '--' back to the beginning of the line and the default setting will take over for you.)
6) Save mudlet upon exit
7) Re-open Mudlet and view your newly expanded chat screen - 4a)Scroll down to AConf.GUI.Right_wrap
Re: MAG - Mudlet Aardwolf GUI
Is there further update to this?
