Hi,
I've just had a total system failure on my MacBook.
Unfortunately I don't have an export of any of my recent scripts, triggers or my 300,000 rooms worth of map.
On the plus side, I've pulled the HD from the old machine and have it connected to my new one via USB (as well as having a TM backup to external NAS).
2 Questions:
1) Is anyone able to point me to the explicit path for the map file please?
2) Is it possible to recover scripts/triggers/etc without an exported xml, and if so how?
Thanks in advance...
Recover entire mudlet settings, map and config from disk
Re: Recover entire mudlet settings, map and config from disk
The Symbolic link for 'Mudlet-Data' from the legacy HD was looking up to the path on the new HD.
Once I got around this by enabling view of hidden files, I was able to copy the .config folder from the legacy HD to the new HD, which took everything over with it!

That's right! You'll find all profile settings in there. Glad you got everything back

Re: Recover entire mudlet settings, map and config from disk
I have heard that non-administrator users on Windows 10 are not permitted to create symbolic-links to directories anymore - is that really the case and does that mean that Mudlet cannot create the link from C:\Users\username\.config\mudlet to C:\Users\username\mudlet-data for those users?
