Main window resize on Mac/OS X

Post by vokin »

Hi all,

I have my main window stretched pretty large but whenever i type something long enough to make the input want to wrap, the window resizes to it's default size. Also, if I then resize it before deleting this, as soon as I type something short (i.e. as soon as I type anything) it resizes to default again.

Is there any way to fix/prevent this? It's incredibly annoying!

I've found increasing the size of the input box will help. Settings -> Input line -> Command line minimum height in pixels

I find a value of 40 tends to work fairly well.

This was fixed at some point in the past. There isn't an official compiled posting, however, you can compile from source.

FYI: There's an osx compile on my github. It was done from release30/pr308 prior to it being finished/merged.
