API question

Does anyone know a way or, how to add my OWN API to my own website and for me to download it into the system?
The API will consist of the variables to run the system.
I know someone on Achaea had a way to do something like this but for his/her triggers/scripts etc but I forgot the name so I cant message to ask them.
