Install ttf font?

Post by Nyyrazzilyss »

Is there any way to include a .ttf file with a mudlet package, and have it install that font if the system doesn't already have it?

You can include it in a package but the user will still have to install it.

Don't forget also the tricky question of copyright if you are distributing fonts that are not open licensed...

Something unfortunately I hadn't thought about/will have to look into: I'd just assumed the font I was using (exocet light) had non-restrictive licensing on freeware.

I found avqest from gemfonts: It appears to be an exocet clone with free (for non commercial use) licensing, but i'll have to look into it further.
