Would that change have any effect on the problem I'm having with goto? It seems that's the only thing that causes it, but only happens about 5% of the time if I had to make an estimation of the frequency.

Same problem. It happens randomly. Only has happened to me using goto. 64-bit Windows 7.

Not sure if this would help. Copied it last time it crashed.

Hello,

I am on Vista with all the latest updates/patches.

I have Mudlet 2.1.

I have the latest SVO (downloaded it automatically after I connected to Achaea a week or so ago.)

I installed the most recent mudlet mapper on 28 Jul. It is 13.6.3.

I specifically used the click function (click on the map, you walk to the room) Friday evening. Then about an hour later, I used it and it crashed. Now, if I use any click function either on the map or if I do an rf search and click on the room number, I get “This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application’s support team for more information.” Then mudlet crashes, giving me the mudlet.exe has stopped working

I’ve tried quite a few different things, reinstalled mudlet, went to an older mudlet mapper, went to an older map. Still does it.

Not sure if anyone else is having problems.

UPDATE TO ABOVE...

Vadi had me delete the map directory from my mudlet file. Since I create my own maps, I renamed and saved a copy of a .dat file from before I started having issues. I logged in, downloaded the crowdmap. Played around with the mapping functions and did not crash. Did a map save. Moved the .dat file i'd saved back to the map directory. Then did a map load filename.dat. I can once again use my goto and clickies without crashing.

Thank you!

I tried that and still get errors occasionally.

My crash was definitely the mapper. I'd click on a room number, do a goto, or click on a graphic to goto and crash I went.

Please test your issues on the latest git development tree. The mapper backend has been changed so much since 2.1 that reports for 2.1 are basically useless at the moment.

Its fairly impossible for these people to test got without having builds provided.

Quick update, I also got the error with the showpath alias if that helps at all.

Edit: Or should we just wait for the new version?
