Help with convertion from zmud to mudlet

Post by scheidelin »

It is time for me to convert my 10 years old zmud aliases, maps, triggers to mudlet.
Im using zmud now and I think that mudlet seems smooth.
I would like to get live help converting all this at once (teamviewer or something)
Im willing to pay rl money if you are a "pro" knowing how to convert this.

Question 1:
Is the mapper in mudlet working like in zmud/cmud?
Question 2:
Are someone willing to help me?

Mudlet does have a mapper, and it can import cmud maps with this script: http://forums.mudlet.org/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=2274

I'm not much of a zmud expert myself... can't help you there. We do have: http://wiki.mudlet.org/w/Manual:Migrating#From_CMUD

If you made a list of aliases and triggers you have, with examples of what you would type/see and what the result would be, I would think that a number of people could come up with something for you, especially for the less complicated things.

Also, knowing which MUD you are on is probably something that could help. If someone else plays that MUD, they might already have what you want.

This script for Mudlet will help you do that: http://forums.mudlet.org/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=2274

Note that the map needs to be in recent sqlite (cmud) format.
