issue with mudlet mapper

Is it possible to get rid of the stuff in the red box? I know its transparent but I'd like it gone. :\

Yep, quite possible. One of the checkboxes at the bottom of the mapper (you might have to click the blue 'up arrow' bar you see at the bottom of your screenshot) is "Info". Check/uncheck it as needed to change the state of the extra info.
