Mudlet - Forum

To be honest, I really have no idea why it keeps crashing on me. I'm running windows 7, i get windows updates. I have the latest version of Mudlet 2.0-test4 10-25-11. It does it at random times while I'm playing lusternia... I don't even have to touch it sometimes, it just stops responding and then i have to exit out of mudlet and restart it. I tried reinstalling mudlet but it didn't fix anything. Sometimes it crashes randomly while i'm hunting (which ends up getting me killed -.-) and other times it does it when I type something into the command line. Not sure how to fix it. If you need me to tell you anything else, just ask.

Hmm. Try following these instructions:


close mudlet
find where mudlet.exe is (on Windows 7 - it's in C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\Mudlet)
in that folder, delete lua5.1.dll, lua51.dll, and mudlet.exe (you might not see the .dll and .exe endings, just the names)
download this zip and unpack it
from the new zip, replace lua5.1.dll, lua51.dll, and mudlet.exe back
you can delete the zip and the folder you've got from it
