Re: Server data encoding doesn't save?
I tried deleting the encoding file, no change after it creates it again.

Are you, by any chance, from the Land of the Rising Sun @Vega? - if so I think Vadi may be on to something (no I'm not psychic but we Admins have access to IP addresses used by contributors)...

Japan? I'm in Europe.
Re: Server data encoding doesn't save?
I don't see anything that would be off @SlySven, the encoding for vega just does not seem to be read in.

Re: Server data encoding doesn't save?
Sorry, I was wondering whether there was a Windows file/path-name encoding problem for non-ASCII characters in a user name. Given that your Windoze user name was originally specified as the nice, simple ASCII encodable "Paul" I was barking up the wrong tree from the start...

Re: Server data encoding doesn't save?
I can't reproduce this - but admittedly that is not on an OS of a Windows type:
Re: Server data encoding doesn't save?
It seems to be that particular profile. I just tested other profiles and they work.
Re: Server data encoding doesn't save?
As a workaround, you can use this in a script to set it: https://wiki.mudlet.org/w/Manual:Miscel ... erEncoding
Re: Server data encoding doesn't save?
Welp. I copied the profile, and the copy works right. So I deleted the original and am now on the copy, and it's working. Thanks for the help.
