Too frustrating.... I give up!

I've spent the last few days trying to figure out how to make a script, but I give up.
Ran out of tutorials and manuals and books and nothing I seem to try does what I'm trying to accomplish.
Is there anyone I can hire to write a fairly simple script for me? Or perhaps a suggestion of where to look for someone who would be up for that?

I agree, mudlet is not use friendly ... its a steep learning curve.
