Help with mapper script (NOOB)

Can someone point me to a good script to use? I tried the one form the "Generic Mapper" script thread. didn't seem to work when activated it. i'm a total noob when it comes to coding. I've been struggling for days trying to get Mudlet to map for me to no avail. Back in the day i used zMUD and it was all automatic. I think you could just click record and it would draw the maps out as you moved. any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
