Remember console size?

Post by Barnlock »

I apologize if this is a dumb question, but I'm unfamiliar enough with this software that I'm having a hard time searching for a solution. I understand that, as Open Source software, no one is obligated to make the software behave the way one person wants it to behave :-)

I'm looking at Mudlet as an alternative to a terminal window in MacOS and I'm using 3.7.1. I'm trying to get a minimalist look (much like the MacOS terminal), with just a 50 lines by 80 character console with an input line (no toolbar, maps, etc). I've used earlier versions of Mudlet for short periods of time.

So...

* Is Mudlet supposed to remember the console size? It doesn't seem to be doing so for me.

* I see there is an .xml file for each profile, can I set a size there? I'm sure I'm looking in the wrong place, but I don't see a reference for the profile XML.

Getting crazy now...

It would be nice if, when you resized the console, it would display the current size of the window in lines and characters -- is there a way to have that happen?

Thanks for any help or suggestions
