F-key macros in Mac version

Post by Jelloman »

Hi guys, I'm new to the forum but am a big mudlet fan :)

Being the hardcore power mudder that I am, I bought an external keyboard for my mac laptop because it has a numpad. It has a ton of F-keys above the numpad, F16, 17, 18, 19. As a numpad user, I was very excited about this. But, mudlet only recognizes F17, F18 and F19 as "undefined keys." If I push a macro on them, it'll work except they all will do the same thing, because mudlet is viewing them as the same key.

I am wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to fix this? I experimented with a program called key maestro that lets me rebind the keys in my mac, and strangely, if I bind F18 to "F18" Mudlet starts recognizing the key :O I don't really want to buy key maestro though and am hoping for some kind of Mudlet-based solution :)

Thanks a ton :D
