While on the topic of logging, is there a way to gag lines from the log output?

For example, on Midkemia I have the mapview switched on. Whenever I move, I get the map output to the game window. This is then moved to a separate console to give the impression of an updated map. This bloats the log and makes it hard to read later on :(

I suggest custom logging. Checkout the Lua io library -> sticky tutorial topic
