Font peculiarity

Is there any reason why I would not be able choose a particular font in the main display settings? I've just today realized the font I thought I had chosen (Courier) is being set to Courier New instead. The differences between the fonts is subtle so I suppose that's why I never noticed, but I prefer Courier. Problem is, I can't seem to get Mudlet to use it.

I don't know if it's an issue with my fonts or if it's something related to Mudlet specifically, though I'm able to use Courier just fine in anything else. I'm also able to choose any other font in the list and Mudlet will display it just fine. Anyone know what's up?

Hiya,

Mudlet only accepts monospaced fonts.

Courier IS a monospaced font, to my best understanding. I assume it would not have been available in the list of fonts to choose if it were not, considering no other non-monospaced fonts are listed.
