Feature request: map controls show/hide function(s)

Would be nice to see a function to hide the map's control bar. It's a small thing, but having to click it every time I log in is still annoying. I assume if a hide function was made, a show function would be made too, but since using the controls requires clicking as it is, not sure what use that one would see.
