3.0.1 release date target?

Hello all

Congrats on the 3.0.0 release. I noticed that a fix I submitted has been merged to the development branch but it says it will be in 3.0.1. I noticed the fix wasn't in the other branches. Does anyone know the target date for 3.0.1?

Thanks
Ez

It is intended for two to three weeks post 3.0.0 release - we have, as you noted a couple of things that need to be sorted...

Ok, thanks for the quick response and thanks again for making the best client I've ever worked with.

Hi. I see that 3.0.1 has been released but it seems to be based on the master branch which is quite out of sync with the development branch. How do things get from development into master and then releases? I made a bug fix about 2 years ago that's still not made it to a release. If there's anything I can do that would help speed up the process let me know and I'll see what I can commit to.

Release 3.0.1 was based on the release_30 branch, which was quite out of sync with development branch - and it was the last release from there. 3.1, coming in a couple of weeks, will be from development branch - so finally all the improvement made years ago will make their way in.

With 3.0.1 having followed 3.0 after couple of weeks and 3.1 following 3.0.1 in a regular manner too, I'm aiming to establish a regular release schedule and that'll mean that we'll solve the backlog problem that way.
