Apologies if this exists, but I sure don't see it anywhere. It'd be fantastic if we could specify a socks proxy for our connections. Preferably in the world details, but I'd take a single definable one if nothing else :)

Mudlet doesn't work with your default OS proxy settings?

That would be bad. I generally want to be able to connect to muds from behind restrictive firewalls/proxies by using my own, which I generally create through ssh tunnels. I don't really find this type of thing to be uncommon. :)

This is still missing and can be added easily for standard proxies.

You can use Sockscap with Mudbot to connect via socks proxies.

Sockscap: http://www.socksproxychecker.com/sockscap.html
Mudbot: http://forums.aetolia.com/index.php?showtopic=8577 (For Aetolia)

Setup sockscap to enable socks on mudbot.

Have mudlet connect to mudbot and it should work fine.

I connect to various places via http tunnels free client using this method. This is ideal if you don't have your own socks server.

Http tunnel is here: http://www.http-tunnel.com/html/solutio ... client.asp

You don't need mudbot for that, connect to the program directly.

I can't seem to get sockscap to work with Mudlet directly, which was why I was using mudbot.
