Trigger test area

Everest raised a good point that I've been getting to a while now, and can again with the trigger section of the script editor overhaul - testing the trigger patterns you made.
Anyhow have ideas on what would they like? Personally, for regex testing, I love a program called kiki (linux-only, sorry). It's ability to organize matched wildcards is very superior - no lengthy lists:

So I think just an input box for the line(s) to test against, and an input box with the resulting lines highlighted in the way kiki does, will be well. Anything else though?
