New to Mudlet and Geyser

Hi everyone.
Total newbie to all this, so I'm sorry for asking such obvious questions!
I'm using Akaya's template in Mudlet 2.1
I have 2 questions.
1. There's time messages and date messages that appear. I want to capture both in the same GUI box and have it replace the previous message that was there, delete the line from the main text and delete the prompt that follows it too.
2. How do I get my commands to show up on a new line rather than the end of the old one?
