Just posted an update to this script, fixing a problem I hadn't noticed before where map windows would reappear if they were resized while hidden.
I have created a new version of this script that should hopefully be faster and simpler to use (no more weird math functions to use, and a number of optimizations added). Note that the new version is NOT 100% backwards compatible with the old version, so some users may need to modify existing code to take advantage of the new script.
Because of the major changes, I'm leaving this version in place, and creating a new thread for the updated version.
