Using Alt+key, Windows 10, mudlet 3.0.0-delta

Post by Slayd »

I switched to using mudlet-3.0.0-delta on windows because of the problems on OS X.

I've always used Alt-keypad keys for some of my key macros. I'm finding that when I do now, I get an Alt-char showing up on the input line as well.

I'm new to windows 10. To prevent that happening, do I need to change a setting in Windows 10 or a setting in mudlet?

Is it a common phenomenon on all versions of Windows with mudlet?

For the record I think there was a code tweak done in that area by someone... ah, ha I have it - that went into the code base in Dec 2015 so won't be in the delta binary release in the wild - you will need a Windows build of the Git repo since then which is, um, awkward for me to do anything about as I have still not got a working 'Doze build environment (I rarely use it myself), anyone else out there that has managed to follow the DIY instructions on the Wiki?
