Mudlet-2.0-test4 released
Re: Mudlet-2.0-test4 released
uploaded Mudlet-2.0-test4.app.zip for Mac
Re: Mudlet-2.0-test4 released
I think this release introduced an off-by-one error for color retrieving functions. My screendump function started coloring letters a character line (ie, if Name was all red, only ame was coloured) and it uses getFgColor/getBgColor for retrieving the color. Phoenix also got a crash relating to the function on mac: http://pastebin.com/qf9HHJjG

Also echoes inside event handlers contexts do not show at all for some reason now. No errors or anything, and taken into a timer context they work fine.
Re: Mudlet-2.0-test4 released
1. Echos inside event handlers work fine for me. Posted a test script on the bug mailing list
2. Paste your screendump function otherwise I can't verify your issue.

Re: Mudlet-2.0-test4 released
As for 1), ignore - selectCurrentLine() is different from selectString(line, 1) and this threw me off.
Re: Mudlet-2.0-test4 released
So I just installed Test4, and the install went fine....until I go to boot up. I get the following error:
The file is there, I've tried changing the folder name which is called files to "lua", but that didn't help any.[ ERROR ] - LuaGlobal.lua compile error - please report!cannot open mudlet-
lua/lua/LuaGlobal.lua: No such file or directory
Re: Mudlet-2.0-test4 released
What system/etc are you running on?
Re: Mudlet-2.0-test4 released
Win 7. Like I said, I checked the file path, and even though the folder was called "files" instead of "lua", I tried changing it and rebooting mudlet to no avail, so I reverted it.
Re: Mudlet-2.0-test4 released
Sounds *very* weird because it works fine on other Win7 machines.
Uninstall the old version of Mudlet and then install the latest which is in fact test4b.
If this still doesn't work for you try running Mudlet from the administrator account and report your findings. Thanks.
PS: When installing please click on details and copy the installed files and paste them here for verification.
