Logging of commands sent

Post by Bronte »

I tried searching for a topic that covers this and couldn't find one, which rather surprises me since it seems like an important topic. When I turn logging on, I do not see the commands that I send to the mud in the log. The only items in the log are the text I get back from the mud. Is this by design? Is there any way to change the configuration so that the commands I send are logged?

If you enable HTML logging on a recent version, everything that you see on the screen will be logged - thus you'll see the commands sent as well.

Excellent! I guess the older version I was using didn't do that with HTML logging, but I got 2.0 test3 and it works like a champ. Thanks.

Yeah. Almost - it does stop logging at a certain point, unfortunately. If you really want something, best to select the text, copy to html, and then put it on pastehtml.com or save in a text file with a .html extension. Just a tip!
