Just testing again, and it seems the echo isn't messing with the text from the server. I could have sworn it was, maybe I'm working with an old version on my other computer. Well, no need to worry about it I guess. That said, the echo is ugly and not something that the end-user should see.
I have commented out the echo in my own version, I just have to remember to merge my changes whenever I pull an update from git.
