Why am I getting this message when I 'rf'' or scry someone?
As you inscribe the name of Meliana with a flourish, lines crawl across the surface of the map,
centered upon at Syrinx Plaza, crossing with Nautilus Pompilus. (1557)
From your knowledge, that room is in ?.

Make sure your mudlet mapper is up to date!

I have updated using the 'update map' button in mudlet.

Yes, that updates your map. The thing that makes your 'rf' alias work is the mapper, so update that:
