What happens when you click on Map? Did it ever download a map for you?

Newp. Never got that far. The window opens fine and all, it just does nothing.

Are you using the default Aetolia connection?

I am, yes. I followed the supplied instructions step by step.

I even went so far as to completely uninstalling the client, removing the folders left behind, reinstalling and doing the steps over.

Still getting nothing.

This looks awesome, and is definitely reason enough to make the move from MUSHClient, so I am naturally pretty anxious to get it working.

Thanks.

Think I fixed it. Going in and manually deleting all the system package xml files from the world folder seemed to work.

Map is downloading as I type.

OK. Have it kind of working, although clicking on a room causes this to happen:

--> waiting for new room

I have to send an mstop each time. It does this too often to make the mapper useful, unfortunately.

Is there a fix for this, I request?

Thanks.

Probably something different in the way Aetolia does ATCP that the mapper doesn't recognize. The xml posted is the latest in terms of detecting that.

Yeah, just tested it in Lusternia and it works a dream. That is a shame it does not work for Aetolia.

This used to work fine on Aetolia. I've used Aetolia mainly to develop the mapper as it has the most complex maps I could find (bloodloch is very nice). Going to have a look.
