I've tried Avalon in the past but right now I'm very happy in New Worlds Ateraan www.ateraan.com
A very good tutorial for those new to muds, forced roleplay, newb friendly but lots of old, long-timers there as well. a very interesting guild structure and lots of events. Also, for those interested, it's very accessible to blind players. Ranked 3 pretty consistently (2 sometimes)

Hi. This is my first post.
I play Achaea since 2002, inconsistently, but still, it's 10 years. I love Achaea, even if it gets harder and harder to obtain credits with `gold sovereigns`. In 2002, a credit was 2k gold and i could buy it from friends for even less.
Anyway, Mudlet is definitely the BEST mud client i have ever seen, it was love on first sight.

Ah yes. I totally remember the days when a credit went for 1500 gold.
