generic mapper, catch move failure

I have looked for a good mapping script for a non IRE mud, and at the moment only one somewhat working for me seems to be the generic mapper. The only downside of it at the moment is if for some reason the movement fails. For example going east if no east exit or if stopped by something, or if being too tired. Where can I put triggers for that? Looking at the code so far it does not seem to have a place for it or I did not see it.
