I'm using the rc 2 version on a Mac. Let me see what happens when I try a new profile though.

i'm very much interested in this. it looks promising :)

can you explain how to set it up a little more ?
i'm running mudlet2.0 on a mac with a new profile. using it for Wotmud.

-when am i supposed to start seeing anything happen? do i have to import anything else besides this?
-trying to rewrite the room-trigger: what are these matches[3] and matches[4] supposed to be getting ? exits of some sort?

As soon as the room trigger "works" the scripting should start mapping (I would delete the map file after you get the trigger right, it looks to see if map exists and begins a new map if it doesn't.)
matches[2] is a short description of the room
matches[3] are the room exits
matches[4] are water exits (swimming... you may not need this)

This script is still a work in progress......
(I lost my wife last week and am unsure when I will have time to get back to this.)

As a newbie, that would like to start creating a Map for Wheel Of TIme, i downloaded the script but did not manage to make it work. so can anyone help me? no error messages, but i can't figure out how to make the mapper start mapping

I just downloaded my own script and was running it on Windows Mudlet 2.0test 4..... (I have not looked at or used mudlet for some months and the scripting was developed on an earlier version.)

anyway.... point of the post. This scripting does NOT appear to work with the latest version of mudlet for windows. (I have not tried it on ubuntu yet.)

The mapper seems to be handling room collisions and is merging rooms in a way that is currently incompatible with this scripting. (Although I have not looked at it very close.)

I may have some time in the next few months that I can get this working again but reguardless I felt the issues should be noted.
