Nothing fancy, basically mimics whytes, but I figure since thats what the vast majority are use to, why change it. Unless you have a better design in mind, in which case I can't wait.

There's a screenshot of how I wanted it to look with room numbers echo'd somewhere on here, I'll see if I can track it down. The quote removes it, but all names are indented slightly.

How difficult would it be to have a command or function or whatever that will set a minimum for spacing? The map that is downloaded by the mapper is so cluttered-looking (and hard to read quickly) because of the very small spacing between rooms. Other than that, it kicks ass!

You can already do that in 2D mode - select rooms, and then 'spread'. Try 2 for a size

Yeah, that's what I've been doing, but I wonder if it wouldn't be slightly more user-friendly (specially for people like me who are gettin' old!) to have a setting you can change that would essentially spread all the maps to 2, mostly because if I update to a new map version, I have to go back and do it all over again.

In the latest unreleased Mudlet, you can zoom in, adjust line size and room size - I think you'll be able to do what you want.

Ideas that could be added:
- have locating abilities centerview on a room if there's a single ID for 4s and then check back to the current view
- create an area merge function - easy to reassign rooms to another area, but want to also do collision detection first to make sure you don't create a mess
- IMap compatibility - should be doable to create a script that'll export map data in IMap format, import it in IMap format, download from the server and autoimport. No upload yet, Mudlet doesn't have an upload function

More ideas...
- have 'rl' later on to have a lock/unlock toggle + clickable room IDs, and in mapping mode, delete exits right on rl, change the room weight (not that it's necessary often), and buttons to pre-fill the input line with syntax for creating a special exit. Mayb other stuff I think of. Doing this in Mudlet allows things to be done so easier (thus more incentive to do them)
- have 'rl' show the other area name if the exit leads out to it (done!)

Rooms that were on the map before are now missing... is this because of an update here or because of IRE? Just curious because I'm starting to get a bit lost in areas I normally depended on the map for. I'm adapting, but I'd like to see these areas come back

Depends... on which map? the vadi-mapper? Because mudlets mapper does not use vadi-mappers data, it autodownloads (an incomplete) map from achaea itself.
