From the code there, it shouldn't be disconnecting you - it might be the mud doing it.

I'm sorry to say the code does not work like that, because it is cechoing it to your screen, not to your buddy. You would have to change the function a bit, and the output that would come of sending it would be quite a mess to the other player. Switching the rainbow function to return the str instea...
