Re: Bug: copying from the main window

These are some nice suggestions. I'll add them to the suggested feature list.

Re: bug: profile not saving correctly

Duplication of item in the profile happen when you are using multiple instances of the same profile name simultaneously. If you want to use multiple connections at the same time or multiple instances of Mudlet if you have multiple screens you have to create a new profile name for each of them. If yo...

Re: Beta Testing

Hi Tichi, you'd be welcome to participate. I get the feeling that you are testing some older version. The current version is Beta-9, available here: http://mudlet.sourceforge.net Yes, we'll add graphics windows, browser windows and eventually embed Mudlet into a modern website style UI. Have a look ...

Re: trig type: lua function condition

A little system design tip: The simplest and fastest solution for your problem would be to stay away from expression triggers completely and simply use a trigger chain with your prompt detection trigger as the filter: little substring trigger on "eb" and another little substring trigger on...

Re: trig type: lua function condition

From reading the help files, I believe this trigger type is similar to the one zmud/cmud calls an "expression" trigger type. That is, rather than firing on a line from the mud output, it fires when its expression evaluates to be true. I've played around with it, and read the help files, b...

Re: Script window bugs?

This means that you have 3 instances of the same trigger. Save the profile and restart Mudlet. Then you'll see the "dead" instances if they exist. This could be a drag & drop bug or a delete bug that slipped in during the latest updates. As this is a serious issue it would be good if y...

Re: help with SelectString and replace

I'm having trouble with selectString in general, I think. Pattern: You have recovered equilibrium. Script: selectString( "You have recovered equilibrium." ) fg( "blue" ) I tried the above with various different pattern types (Pattern starts at beginning of line, pattern is entir...

Re: command line update

Sending what you type to the command history is a nice idea. We'd had to chose some kind of key combination to commit the current text to the command history without sending it to the network layer.
What about control+alt? (control+return is used to close the split screen) or shift+return?

Re: bug: matches[1]

This is not a bug. The first item in the string list matches, matches[1] contains the first *full match*, i. e. the first complete match of your regex pattern - or if you are using substring/begin of line substing type of triggers, matches[1] contains the pattern itself. To get the entire line you'd...
