Re: Mudlet and Python

Not sure I fully grok how to use this, but the thought is very exciting. I'm not a huge fan of Lua, and I desire to learn python and what better way than mudding.

Re: Generic Mapping Script

Thank you Vadi! That page is slightly non-discoverable - or was there some more direct route to it that I was overlooking?

Re: Generic Mapping Script

Way late to the party, but @Zoticus - check out the ASUI interface available for Asteria. It contains a modified mapping script (not this one) specific to Asteria that might solve all your issues. More generally, I'm wondering if there would be value in a thread (wiki page?) that contains just a col...

Re: Dark Theme for Mudlet

A shame there are no responses here. This is wonderful - it makes the scrollbar and map info bar not such an eyesore, and more like a full 'text' interface. Much appreciated.

Re: TorilMud

I just read on the Toril forums that your mapper works by having everything pre-mapped, but becomes visible as you explore. That's just awesome. Kudos on having such a complete map available. I'm now even more excited to play around with this.

Re: TorilMud

Nothing makes me want to check out (or revisit) a mud more than seeing a well-developed mudlet interface with mapping correctly integrated. Well done!

Re: Mudlet 3.4 - various improvements

Font size in user windows being independent of main window is huge. Well, or small. Depends on the setting I suppose. Thanks for that.

Re: Generic Mapping Script

Neglected playing with this for a long time, as I usually wrote my own (usually going for something more complex than needed). However, this is absolutely wonderful. Took just minutes to craft a couple of appropriate triggers and get basic functionality going. I never made mine abstract enough to re...

Re: (mapping script) 3kingdoms Mapper

Been quite some time since I've played, so haven't used the script with 3.0 yet. I suspect you're right though - Etah was using those special characters to trigger off of to mark the compass and end of directions list. The fact it shows as a box instead of the usual squiggle (sorry - typical America...
