Re: Right Click on Labels

Actually, come to think of it, maybe it's possible to use these events in tandem with the label mouseover events. Set a var when the event is raised and keep it as true until the off event hits and work from that. Ugly, but I think it would work.

Re: Right Click on Labels

Yeah. So far as I recall, these events are only available for the main window. I used them briefly to move my UI elements around, but quickly gave up.

Having this feature would be great, and pretty trivial to add.

Re: hit points regex

Assuming you only want to capture the HP's, this will do what you need:

Code: Select all

^HP\: (\d+)\/(\d+) CP\: (\d+)\/(\d+)( .+)?$
Your actual current HP will be stored in matches[2], with the max stored in matches[3].

YAJL/ZZip issue with latest Linux binary installer

It seems that the latest installer is linked against YAJL 1, which while in the bin directory, fails to locate and load it. I was required to manually build YAJL and symlink it to /usr/lib/ before the Mudlet binary would execute. Edit: Further, upon successful loading, Mudlet complains about a missi...

Re: Mudlet features and API requests

Yeah, I was thinking more on the lines of miniconsoles being so fast, that using anything else would be a hit on the performance, however little. Easy enough to find out, though.

Map open events? Can't say I noticed those yet. Interesting.

Re: Mudlet features and API requests

Yeah, that first request would be great but I suspect there'll be some performance issues associated with doing this, hence why it uses a miniconsole at present.

As for the init issues, that's totally avoidable via your own scripting.

Re: Timed "Warning" Labels.

Oh? What's the problem? Have a precise error for me? These should simply 'just work' but should they not, it's almost certainly nothing more than a missing table declaration.

Re: Perl Regex Help Needed

Try:

Code: Select all

(\w+) the (\w+) is a (\w+) level (\d+[st|nd|rd]) (\w+), was born on (\d+) / (\d+) / (\d+),
That will fix what you need to accomplish here, although if you want to actually properly capture the level, do take that into account.

Re: Idea: clickthrough property in a label

I wrote code for this months ago if I am interpreting this post correctly. Check out my timed warning labels post for a cool Growl-style stacking feature.
