Problem with Temp Trigger Recursion

I am trying to make a script using temp triggers that will go through every piece of equipment and cast a spell on it. To do so, I'm creating a temp trigger that will fire when it sees the message from the MUD indicating that the spell succeeded. I then clear my temp triggers, and make new ones that...

Re: Logging with timestamps

It would seem that you aren't the only person having problems with this, but it seems that some of the dev team believes this problem is fixed, as can be seen here. You could try bringing it up to Heiko.

Re: Logging with timestamps

If you look in the wiki, the example given for how to use the prefix function displays a time stamp. As these will be written on your screen in a manner similar to text from the game, they should be logged.

Re: Logging question

But, if you find your commands aren't being logged, you could make a script to react to the sysDataSendRequest event to echo the command on the screen. Then it should be logged even if your commands aren't.

Re: Logging question

Since I haven't really played around with it, does logging only record the actual text coming in from the MUD, or does it record whatever is displayed? I.E. if I gag lines or replace text, will the replaced versions be logged, or only the original?

Re: transfering files to new computer

Fair suggestion, though locations vary by OS. And if you are switching OSes, don't bother.

Re: transfering files to new computer

There certainly is. On your old computer, open your scripts (or aliases or triggers or whatever) and click the "Save Profile As" button. That will create an XML file with all of your stuff in it. Put that file on your new computer, then open up scripts and click "Import" and select that file. All yo...

Re: Events and triggers

So, apparently the problem was in my display code. The secondary effects were all being attributed properly, I was just handling the display incorrectly. I was recording the information for each type of attack, with evasion being its own type. Only the secondary effect information from the last atta...

Re: Events and triggers

Maybe. Though I can't make the filtering trigger a multiline trigger because I have multiple lines of regex that I use to match all of the different ways that combat damage can be displayed. To give an example of what I'm trying to do, I'm trying to take this: (The ": VAMP" text is added in by a sim...

Re: conditionals and inventory (Achaea)

Well, I would think it wouldn't be that complicated. Capture your inventory and store it in a table. And since you care about corpses in particular, maybe have a special table just for corpses. Then, when you need to give someone a certain corpse, you can check if such a corpse exists by keyword. Li...
