Re: NumPad Movement

Thanks guys, this seems interesting! I found it through the wiki: http://wiki.mudlet.org/w/Keybindings Is there any way to understand which keyCode / keyModifier relates to which button on Keyboard? Following is the Lua code again for your comparison. <KeyPackage> <KeyGroup isActive="yes" isFolder="...

Re: Newbie Multi-Line Trigger

Thanks Jor'Mox, this was very helpful indeed. So here is what I did: create a new trigger, which would be triggered by the first line of the text block to be captured. set "fire length" to 1 in trigger GUI put your code in the trigger There was only one problem, I had to remove your "not" from the l...

Newbie Multi-Line Trigger

I tried around for some time, I read the manual on Trigger chains and filters, but still can't seem to capture anything past the first line. I have some output like: Ein Schmetterling ist absolut fit und ist damit absolut, unglaublich schwaecher als Du. Er kaempft mit seinen Fluegeln. Er macht damit...

Mudlet eats line?

I saw a strange behavior. When I log in to my mud, then log in again, the last line (asking for my player name) will not be shown in time. Here is how to do it: * New profile * Address: mg.mud.de - Port 23 * Connect * Notice the last few lines * Last line asks for player name: Wie heisst Du denn ("n...

import lua?

Developers asked me, if it would be possible, or is it planned at all, to have a way to import lua files to Mudlet? They would like to code lua, but not bother with all the XML of Mudlet profile save files. It would be helpful to just import this from external lua files in the same directory, or som...

Re: Mudlet mapper script Q&A

OK now I have sorted out my above problems. I can now create a room, create another room, and link them via exits. Now, how do I best organise my code to tap into the GMCP possibilities? Are there any recommendable mappers available for reference? So I can just take the existing logic, and adjust to...

I have similiar issues sometimes, not quite as intense though. When I hover over the buttons, they return. I do not have to click them first.

Re: Mudlet features and API requests

In Mudlet settings, i can change background color, text color, etc. This works somewhat okay and I will probably file some bug reports soon, but is there any way for me to do this for the users via scripts? or does everybody need to do it for each of their profiles themselves?

Re: Mudlet 3.0.0-alpha

Whatever it is, it is clearly only happening on this one machine of yours. Try asking your local computer wizard for help. When I try download here, it works just fine, also on Win 7.

add Forum links to Website & Wiki

In the top right corner, below the search function, where it says FAQ, etc, we should add links to (at least) Mudlet Website & Wiki:

* Website - http://www.mudlet.org
* Wiki - http://wiki.mudlet.org

Currently, forum users have no quick way of going to those other helpful ressources.
