Re: Variable Contents as a Trigger

tempTrigger is your solution, just create a trigger for every name - works faster than in other clients. I've managed to get this working, but only to capture the -first- instance of the highlighted word, not all of them in a line. I've been stumped as to how to get this to capture -all- instances ...

Re: Variable Contents as a Trigger

I can understand why you don't want to implement the code to process a trigger based on variable information, as it's surely a lot of work and probably not totally efficient. However, I haven't found an efficient way to highlight all occurances of a variable in a capture efficiently without using th...

Re: Linux generic installers test

Ok, I've confirmed that my main toolbar disappearing issue was caused by failing to set the option to show it.

Perhaps defaulting it to "yes"?

Re: Linux generic installers test

Interesting. After uninstalling the old Mudlet data and reinstalling the new via linux x64 installer, mudlet still says it's 1.0.6, and doesn't seem to have changed in features (other than a new(?) bug where after changing settings the menubar disappears entirely). Edit: Ok, double verified and the ...

Re: Windows Resizing Event.

Aye, I'm aware of that. I'm new to mudlet, but certainly not to Lua. It wasn't a spelling or duplication or caps error. The function simply wasn't getting called until I restarted.

Re: Windows Resizing Event.

Odd. I deleted the script, rewrote it and tried it again, to no avail.

Restarting Mudlet afterwards, however, caused it to start working perfectly.

Problem solved?

Re: Windows Resizing Event.

Well, I double checked that I only have one copy of the function override, and that the spelling is correct. It simply doesn't get the call.

Re: Variable Contents as a Trigger

Ok, so try as I might, I can't seem to get this code to work in a tempTrigger. Think you could post some more specific code to make this work directly from a temp trigger?

Re: Windows Resizing Event.

Right, the problem I'm having is that the function is never being called (which I've tested with debugging echos). When I resize the main window, I get no activity from handleWindowResizeEvent()
