Re: IMTS & mudlet on mac... I need help.

only one connection accepted means something else is already connecting to IMTS.

find it, kill it, you should be good.

You may need to reboot.

Re: Help with my first simple trigger?

after the 'if' line, put

echo("The target matches")

if you get that echo, it means it's matching... if you do not, it means it is not the same, hence why you're not following.

Re: Help with my first simple trigger?

well, the first thing to check is if the trigger is even firing. Easiest way to do that is to click the 'highlight' option and have it highlight. default is red on yellow, I believe, but since we're not doing it for aesthetics, leave it at that. But I believe the issue may in fact be that it's not j...

Re: Help with my first simple trigger?

nothing goes in 'send plain text' as you need something slightly more complex than that. What you put in the big white box beneath is send(matches[3]) which will then go sw. This is all assuming the message "Harry leaves sw." is what comes from the mud. If it's "Harry leaves sw" then the regex for i...

ok, so you're trying to follow someone when they leave in a certain direction? IOW, if you get Harry leaves sw. you want to follow harry sw? if that's the case, you'll want a perl regex trigger: ^(\w+) leaves (\w+)\.$ and the code it will execute is send(matches[3]) if you want it to check if the pe...

Re: Whats Your Gui Look like?

You didn't post your mud name, but I'm guessing from the scripting window title and the fact it says crown merchants house and the guide's name is romeo you're in Achaea.

Re: Thank You.

Let me just second this big thanks. It's nice to finally see a decent client in active development with a solid OS X port. I've been a MushClient user forever, but this project has me porting all my stuff over. Now if you can add a mapper, too, you'll have won over the hearts and minds of the world...

Re: Mudlet crash on start-up (Mac OSX)

also, it would be good to know how many profiles are set to autologin, if they'll all login in fine when not set to autologin, and (since I didn't see it in the report, but may have just missed it) what version of mudlet you're using.
