Title says it all. As soon as I try to open the map mudlet stops working and closes itself out. I'm playing on a surface using windows 8. Not sure if this is a bug or a problem on my end. Help! I'm lost without a map!

I'm a new omni user. Is there a way to adjust for lag? I keep over-sipping health and eating way to many herbs?
I'm afraid to mess around with the code.
