Re: Mapper Menu Add-Ons Script

Are you sure that the function function mapAddOns.eventHandler(event, mapEvent, ...) works as you anticipate - the conversion of the ... varadic argument (all the remaining arguments, if any, from the caller) to that arg table was only a feature of Lua 5. 0 and Mudlet is built on Lua 5. 1 - to acces...

Re: Halp Raspberry Pi Linux Babby

TBH I am not sure that you can get the full OpenGL library built on the display hardware that is present in the videocore of any of the RPis - it is the sort of hardware that is going to be targeted by the ES variant. In order to support the lower spec'ed hardware (compared to a Desktop PC) we will ...

Re: prompt help - must query for info - tele-arena

Of course, instead of comparing against a fixed target (21, 23, ... 15) value you could set a table up with whatever required minimums you desire and then test against those ...! :geek: stats_minimums = stats_minimums or {} stats_minimums.Intellect = stats_minimums.Intellect or 0 stats_minimums.Know...

Re: Halp Raspberry Pi Linux Babby

Not sure about that - I can only find Mudlet 2.1-2 for Raspbian in the output from: stephen@Ripley:~/src/mudlet-dev/Mudlet/mudlet-code$ curl -s http://archive.raspbian.org/raspbian/dists/jessie/main/binary-armhf/Packages.xz | xz -d | grep -A 1 '^Package:' |cut -d ' ' -f 2| grep -A 1 mudlet mudlet 1:...

Re: Halp Raspberry Pi Linux Babby

Compiling Mudlet on an RPi itself is going to be, um, unpleasant IMHO. Unlike TinTin++ (which is in the C language) Mudlet uses C++ and the codebase itself is a whole order of magnitude more work for a compiler/linker to put together as an executable file - the memory requirements will exceed what t...

Re: OSX 10.9.5 compatibility

According to the Qt documentation the last version that supported macOs 10.9 was Qt 5.8 - currently the Mudlet code itself is configured to be able to be built on 5.7 or later. So... it ought to be possible to build the latest and greatest version of Mudlet on your system - whether the official Qt o...

Re: Generic Mapping Script

One thing that might help to pick out the room name might be if it has a specific colour that other bits of text does not - you can then use a colour trigger to limit the room name trigger to only fire on the correct foreground/background colours. There is a change that will go in soon (I hope) that...

Oooh, look at how the dumb Ogre is wise-sing up now - I just hope he is up in some icy snowbound realm so that he can stick his head in a snowdrift when the brains inside it starts to overheat... :P

Re: Mudlet features and API requests

It is something I want to sort out - and I think I know how to do it - we just have to allow the Mud Server to negotiate for them to use Telnet Suboption 1 i.e. ECHO and forcibly disable the effect of the "show the text you sent" option on the "input line" tab of the "Profiles preferences" dialogue ...
