Re: Cursor movement commands not supported

I am not sure what you are trying to say jes56 but Mudlet is not trying to emulate precisely a VT100 or other terminal emulator - and we do not claim (via the Telnet TTYPE option) that we do - therefore, for a MUD game server to be sending commands that we do not profess to handle, it is not surpris...

Re: Mudlet Map Explorer

Would it not be more consistent to call "Exits:" -> "Normal Exits:" and "Special:" -> "Special Exits:"?

Re: Setting up the automapper

As colour can be used to identify the room name I guess it just needs configuring somehow (the automapper is not in my skill-set area right now). I guess the exits can be probably be picked out by a regular expression.

Re: MCCP3 Support

TBH I am still confused about Scandum's (TinTin++ maintainer/coder) ideas for MCCP3 - Telnet options are specifically (well normally) negotiable for the two different directions independently - though the way to do both at the same time still confuses the hell out of me - so why does there have to b...

Re: Mudlet Map Explorer

Well it ought to be possible to add a getter and setter for that table but TBH it is just going to confuse the hell out of people unless we expand Mudlet to offer an "environment" type setting - and show how (or even make) it differ from just setting a colour for a room...

Re: Mudlet Map Explorer

That is because when an XML map is imported it sets up a mapping via the user inaccessable (QMap<int, int> TMap::envColors ) of IRE map colour code to Mudlet colour code. Further more, at least ONE of the IRE Muds (either Aetiolia or Achaea - I think the former though) has Environment data that maps...

Re: Mapping Saving and Merging data best practices

For the special exits being handled as user data it is because the XML importer/exporter was written to handle IRE's map files that does not include special exit data in the XML and it was never put into the partial reader that Mudlet has. In the medium term I do plan to get around to producing a fu...

List of MUDs that can be connected to "Securely"

I think it would be useful to record here the connection details for MUDs where the "Secure" option (to use SSL/TLS) to connect over an encrypted link to the Server as opposed to the plain-text standard Telnet one, can be used. I would like to collate them in this first post so any replies with the:...

Re: Keyboard shortcut to close or switch away from Script Editor window

I know it might sound silly but doesn't cmd+e from the editor also take you back to the main screen. I thought I saw that recently when I was looking at all the short-cuts in various places...
