Re: Keyboard shortcut to close or switch away from Script Editor window

I know it might sound silly but doesn't cmd+e from the editor also take you back to the main screen. I thought I saw that recently when I was looking at all the short-cuts in various places...

Re: Bug With permAlias and permRegexTrigger Functions

demonic is probably going to start jumping up and down when he sees this!  expandAlias(...) has got to be the most abused function that we provide - except that this might actually be one of those cases where it enables something that cannot easily be done on the command line otherwise....

Re: Build Mudlet on RK3399 SBC

FTR although Qt 5.9 is a Long Term Support (LTS) version 5.9.9 is End of Support at the end of this month (2020-05-31). We are using feature that are just not available prior to 5.11 I am afraid. Re: Script auto exection is really a trouble design

I suspect some difficulties may crop up for what one might call "direct" Lua code/scripts which do get executed e...

Re: Cursor movement commands not supported

The fact that it was doing ASCII art immediately suggested the CP437 ( often identified as the OEM font as it was often the one that is embedded in the EGA/VGA graphics adapter card's ROM by card manufacturers - that is what is used during the PC preboot ("accessing the BIOS CMOS setup/settings") / ...

Re: How to prevent input command echo with alias?

I take it a "sysDataSendRequest" event handler isn't an option here? After all that does intercept user / script generated output does it not? Otherwise this sounds that you'd want to look at (void) Host::sendData(QString cmd, bool wantPrint, bool dontExpandAliases) ... .... sorry, posted this witho...

Re: Mapping variable room sizes

The rooms in Mudlet are all the same size and the coordinates for them are integers and mark the centre of the room in the map display. Therefore you have to ignore the sizes. However you can draw rectangular coloured labels either on top or beneath the rooms so it ought to be possible to draw such ...

You will need to escape all four of the '[' and ']' - not just the '['s with a '\' - as they are both special characters to the regex engine unless told that they are not...
