Test it out on a blank profile where you uninstall all of the default packages - what do you get for your machine/hardware setup? For me with the default packages loaded it's 8.5s - that comes out to 0.85ms to run all triggers I have for a single line. For you it is 1.5ms to run all triggers you hav...

You can only move within existing text, not arbitrarily within the window to any position. Try print(moveCursor("HelloWorld", 0, 5)) to see, it should return false.

There's an example out there for shifting the command line to the left - the same trick could work in your case. Can't find it for you on a quick search, but have a look around.

'luacheck' is a nice package that can help with this, both Sublime Text and Visual Studio Code have extensions for it.
