I would love the ALT + R (reconnect) shortcut to work without the menu-bar displayed. Because, the menu-bar is not shown by default for new profiles. See also discussion next door.

Is the tool-bar still showing (there is some logic to ensure that at least one of them is showing at start-up at the start of the Mudlet application itself) - then you can get to the preference dialogue to re-enable the menu-bar...? When I press ALT + R to Reconnect, it will only work as expected, if the menu bar is shown. If the menu bar is not shown, then the keyboard shortcut will not work anymore. Unfortunately, for new profiles, the menu bar is not shown.

Confirm same issue Win7 / 3.0 delta, but not happening every time. Not sure how to reproduce. Abovementioned workaround seems to work.

I asked about related issues in my thread here: import lua? For the XML structure, just create a few scripts, timers, etc. via the Mudlet GUI. This seems to be the recommended way for most users. You can then export a package and look at the XML structure. I never bothered writing XML from scratch, ...
