Error when starting Mudlet on windows 7

I was just informed that it's actually Windows Vista, not windows 7. So, mudlet was working just fine until a friend decided to try and create a profile and suddenly Mudlet just decided to crash. Now, anytime she tries to start Mudlet, it crashes immediately. Below is the error from the Event Viewer...

Windows Balloon message question

Is it possible to use the Windows API to create those little yellow balloon messages that we window users are all so fond of? I managed to get something working with growl, but it's extraordinarily cumbersome to have to install and configure a new program only to have it run from the windows command...

Special exit issue

Anytime I try to add a special exit via the mapper (right click->exits->add special exit) Mudlet crashes. It's happened no matter what I try to do. Does anyone know of any fixes or if this is a Mudlet-wide issue?

It's not really a huge issue if you have a mouse or an area on your touchpad for scrolling (see: synaptic touch pad manager) but I've found that some people ...

Sorry if I was unclear. I don't have it anymore- it was deleted on accident when I was trying to delete something else.

Re: Alertness parsing [gmcp]

That would defeat the entire purpose of having a script that takes the alertness line and translates it to "PERSON NORTHWEST" instead of "PERSON - THE MAIN GATES OF ASHTAN". Unless of course you found some kind of in game mechanic that automatically updates a table with the adjacent room names. &Vad...

Re: Alertness parsing [gmcp]

GMCP room info doesn't give names. Unless of course you just want to have alertness echo you some room numbers.

I never remember because I have it declared globally on my profile.
