demonnic.Stopwatch : provides an object like interface for Mudlet stopwatches

With the extended stopwatch functionality in Mudlet 4.4.0 I decided to write a quick wrapper around Mudlet stopwatches to provide an object like interface to them, not unlike how Geyser provides an object like interface to labels, miniconsoles, and the like. This is largely a convenience, though I d...

Re: TextGauge , a text based gauge for Mudlet

Quick bugfix release. There was an issue with displaying a 100% full gauge with the showPercent turned off. It was erroneously shortening it by 1 character even though it wasn't showing the numbers.

Re: Crashing on open

What operating system?
3.15 is way older than the latest version, as well. Even if you need to downgrade until we figure it out you might wanna try downgrading to 4.3 rather than 3.something.

Re: Trigger with punctuation.

Because in regex a period means "any character". If you want to match a literal period, you need to escape it. You even used the "any character" property of the period earlier in the pattern.

Re: matches[n] faster then a local variable?

That being said there's good reason to use a local just for more readable code, too. Though not if you use variable names like 's' so much.

Re: matches[n] faster then a local variable?

the local is faster, generally speaking. But you're unlikely to see much of a real difference until you get to thousands of iterations of the loop.

Re: Fastest Trigger Types

From fastest to slowest: Exact Match/Start of line are just about the same, as they both fail as you describe substring regex and I forget where the lua/prompt/color trigger types fit in with all that. The start of line and exact match are the fastest, followed by substring, Then really all the othe...

Re: Handling Windows display scaling

sadly, it does not look like this environment variable is available via os.execute or io.popen, both of which open a new cmd window. output of 'set' command being run doesn't have that variable name in it.
