Re: Typical Trigger Performance

Great! Thanks! That's all I needed. I won't go on a witch hunt for bad triggers just yet. :-)

Typical Trigger Performance

How log should it take to execute the following code block (nominally)? I am getting around 15 seconds, which seems high to me. for i=1,100000 do feedTriggers("\nTesting 1, 2, 3\n") end cecho("<blue> Test complete.\n") I know there are tons of variables, but I'm just looking for ...

That last response prompted me to look here https://wiki.mudlet.org/w/Manual:UI_Functions, where I found this: 0 = default text color 1 = light black 2 = dark black 3 = light red 4 = dark red 5 = light green 6 = dark green 7 = light yellow 8 = dark yellow 9 = light ...

Re: Echo a list in a miniconsole

Interestingly, insertText reverses the order. Here is a comparison: myTable = {"zzz", "1", "2", "Bananna", "f", "GGG"} clearWindow("HelloWorld") --moveCursor("HelloWorld", 0, 5) --moveCursorDown("HelloWorld", 5...

Re: Help with color trigger

Hmm... not getting it to work. What should I put for the trigger to execute that code? I tried regex .*, but that didn't work.

Help with color trigger

I found some discussion on this topic on old posts, but I did not find a solution.

I want to trigger on the color of a whole line (or even just the first few chars).

The following trigger fires if ANY of the characters in the line are are the trigger color.

Re: Echo a list in a miniconsole

Well, a dozen maybe, so ... :-). I have a couple of different options now, though. Thank you!

One last question, is there any way to have the echo start at the bottom of the miniConsole and work up? I think I can figure a way around this wiht 'moveCursor', but thought I would ask.
