It has all of the server data and settings and aliases and everything else that FakeName has. 3. Click in Profile Name fiel...

Re: Pattern matching a variable

Now I think it makes sense.

You set the trigger to function and call the function from the pattern. The function itself goes in scripts.

Thanks for the help!

Re: Pattern matching a variable

So, assuming you don't have too many things you want to highlight, you could do something like this, put into a function called via a Lua function type trigger (which calls the function for each line coming from the game): So I'm giving Mudlet another try and I'm giving this problem another try. Bu...

Re: How to save value from trigger as number

You have to use tonumber() when you assign the value.

Example x = tonumbner(matched[2])

How to save value from trigger as number

Here's a simple one for you. What I'm doing I'm capturing numbers from my prompt, storing the data in variables, and using the data in gauges. What's happening I ran my scripts and got the error about comparing strings and numbers. So I went and set all the variables to number and saved it 100 diffe...

Re: Can you make and use an array of variable names?

1 more question.

What is the best place to declare a table? Is it okay if I put it in a trigger and it runs multiple times? Or should I put it somewhere else?
